Who we are

Welcome to the home of Safe Load program™ (SLP), a joint venture initiative that manages Driver Accredited Training and Safe Load Pass programs, previously operated by the Australian Institute of (AIP).

The SLP joint venture commenced operations on  1 September 2009. SLP stewards programs that promote and support the safety of people, equipment and facilities under the operational control of member companies – Shell Australia, BP Australia and Caltex Australia.

What we do

SLP manages the Pass-2-Load and Driver Accredited training (DAT) programs exclusively on behalf of member companies.Our mandate is to further develop training and compliance systems for the benefit of member companies and the operators/managers of our respective facilities. Over the next 12-18 months, systems, processes and interfaces will be reviewed and adapted to streamline and improve our approach to reaching our goals.
